Pink Stripes And Sunshine

Shirts don't always have to be formal, do they?

Shirts have always been associated with the idea of  formal clothing and work clothes but now in the fashion world shirts are now being worn as the perfect go to for a casual day out, outfit.

Which is exactly the look I tried to go for with this from Hawes & Curtis.

Get your favorite shirt, pair it with jeans and some comfortable shoes and there you have it!

The perfect casual and laidback outfit.

I'm one of those people who struggle with adding color to their wardrobe so this choice in shirt color was me trying, to try something different. And boy, I do not regret it! It was a super hot day and I felt just that bit more Summery thanks to this fuchsia striped, newly loved pieces of perfection in a shirt.

I wore this outfit on a sisterly Sunday out in Central London, and on this day I took my first ever visit to Hillsong which has now become our forever church for when we're at home, I honestly couldn't tell you what I loved most about the church service, the people, the songs or the prayerful atmosphere? So you could say that, that Sunday was a Sunday full of experiences!

Now that I've got a taste of color in my wardrobe I don't want to stop and I have Hawes & Curtis to thank for this! To add some extra chill points you can roll the sleeves up and maybe pop another button or two open. Or even, ditch the espadrilles for a pair of heels if you're feeling up to the challenge. However I knew that me + heels in Central London would be a recipe for disaster!

What's your favorite way to style shirts?
