Fedoras & Stripes

This set of ootd pictures have been waiting to be posted since august and after running a poll on twitter I finally decided to post them (thank you to all of you who voted). I have to agree, its been way too long since I've posted an ootd.

I've never been the best at planning outfits for when it comes to blog posts, mostly because I never thought I had anything fashionable to wear compared to the outfits my sister would put together for her blog posts. I mean if I'm being honest, the only reason I'm wearing the fedora in this outfit was to hide my bad hair day. Hair first, fashion second  (and I call myself a blogger? pfft).

Even though most of my outfits are pulled together last minute, they end up looking quite well put together if I do say myself. The inspiration for this outfit was a mixture of fashionable central London comfort and like I said before a bad hair day.

Sunday's are when my sister and I like to venture into central London and attend a Hillsong service, after that we like to wonder around looking for new coffee shops to visit so that we can sit and sip on lattes (after taking at least 10 pictures at different angles for the 'gram), so that's why I decided to pair my outfit with my favorite tie up espadrilles which I got from Ego Official.

Plus no one has time for slow walkers when in Oxford Street so comfortable shoes which you can walk quickly in, are always a smart choice unless you are looking to make a few enemies whilst you're there.

Stripes have now become a staple in my wardrobe and that's because I believe that anyone can pull them off! I'm a firm believer that everyone should own at least one striped top, I picked this one up in H&M as well as the fedora.

As for the biker jeans they were my favorite pair of jeans I've owned purely because I enjoyed running my hands up and down the lines. You may have noticed I said 'were', well that's because these jeans are no longer living thanks to me ripping them when putting them on in a rush (rip).

From now on I promise to put more thoughts into my ootd seeing as my style has improved since joining university (I think) and my wardrobe has grown a lot (thank God!).

Until the next post.
Happy Sunday,
With Love Yossy x
